Synopsis CollabCAD is a Java 2 based distributed 2D&3D CAD/CAM and CAE software system being developed by the CAD group of NIC, Delhi. CollabCAD is being developed using Java 3D, RMI and is based on a 3-tier distributed computing architecture. It uses open software standards (OpenCASCADE 3D modeling engine, OZONE ODBMS Database, Jpython/Jacl Client-side Scripting) to achieve inter application operability. The software uses CVW for collaborative functionality like video, voice, text, and white-board conferencing. It is to be implemented on ISO 10303 [STEP] standards for product data exchange.
BETS Organization : NIC, New Delhi. Duration : 2 Months. Software : Windows NT,JSP,Java Beans,Tomcat,MySQL. Team Size : 3 Role : Coding & Designing. Synopsis Bugs & Enhancement and Tracking System is a web based Bugs reporting system developed by the CAD group of NIC. This project uses JSP and Beans technology to create an interface to report BUGS corresponding to a given project. The users can be Developers, Testers, or Clients using the product. This also has a mechanism to allot Bugs and Enhancements to software developers and report as and when the bugs have been dealt. This system maintains a database of all the bugs and enhancements reported or dealt. This product can be used to get weekly, monthly, etc. reports to read the progress.
